Jude is an Advocate in Uganda’s Courts of Judicature and the managing partner in JByamukama & Co. Advocates. He holds an LLB (Hons) degree from Makerere University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre.
Jude has extensive experience in legal practice. He is particularly interested in litigation & arbitration and has successfully represented leading private companies as well as individual clients in Uganda’s courts of law. He is a frequent practitioner before the appellate courts especially the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Uganda.
Jude also has experience in all types of commercial transaction work including structuring and establishment of business entities; land and property purchase; commercial legal advisory; and regulation of non-profits. He has specialized knowledge in the areas of Labour and Employment law and litigation. He has established a reputation in the areas of electoral law litigation and judicial review of administrative action having represented clients in conduct of a presidential election petition and several parliamentary as well as local government election petitions in the last five years with considerable success. Jude previously taught Industrial Relations Law in the Department of Chemistry at Makerere University.

- Was involved in the 2016 Presidential election petition between John Patrick Amama Mbabazi Vs Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and Ors (Presidential Election Petition-2016/1), a case that resulted into major changes in electoral laws.
- Took part as first counsel on record for the landmark employment case of Uganda Development Bank vs Florence Mufumba (2015)
- Handled an important employment law case of Jimmy Onguko vs UMEME (U) Ltd
- Handled a Supreme Court Criminal Appeal matter of Sarah Bireete vs Uganda (2020)
- Successfully acted for Hon. Betty Muzanira Vs Electoral Commission & Anor (2018)
- Handled a matter between Rebecca Nagidde Vs Charles Mwasa Steven [2020] UGCA 29, a case that created important precedent on Divorce law
- Successfully secured a settlement for minority shareholders suit against Uganda Baati Ltd challenging transfer pricing practices of the majority shareholder Safal Group.

Joseph is an Advocate in Uganda’s Courts of Judicature. He holds an LLM in International Law from Dalian Maritime University, China, LLB (Hons) degree from Uganda Christian University, Mukono and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre.
Joseph has exceptional training in commercial arbitration and dispute resolution. He is also experienced in commercial transactions and litigation, contract drafting and has special interest in international trade law.

Before joining JByamukama & Co. Advocates, Joseph worked as Legal Officer at Law Development Centre Legal Aid Clinic and with Uganda Network on Law, Ethics and HIV/AIDS (UGANET) as Legal/Program Officer.

Eugene is an Advocate in Uganda’s Courts of Judicature. He holds an LLM from the University of Birmingham, an LLB (Hons) degree from Makerere University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre.
Eugene is an experienced Attorney with over eleven years’ experience in Legislative drafting, Oil and Gas Law. He is an experienced advocate, skilled in company and corporate legal affairs, International Investment Law and Financing of International Trade. Eugene has worked as the Senior Legal Officer at Uganda Law Reform Commission and also as a litigator and teacher of Law.

Jemimah is a Legal Professional who has mastered in International Economic Law and Policy from the University of Barcelona, Spain.
Jemimah has exceptional training in International Trade and Economics, Investment law and Arbitration. She is also a qualified advisor in customs valuation and dispute resolution.
In her spare time, Jemimah works with Haki Kwa Mfungwa an NGO that focuses on advocating for prisoners’ rights and rehabilitation of ex-offenders back into society. She also conducts several Legal Aid Clinics in villages around Uganda to sensitize women, youth and the indigent on their rights and response when in conflict with the law.
